Warren “Kenny” Kenneth Wilcher
Wrens, GA – Warren “Kenny” Kenneth Wilcher, 58, entered into his eternal rest Monday morning, March 22, 2021 at his daughter’s residence in South Carolina. Graveside services will be held in the Jefferson County Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2021 with Reverend Carson Fellows officiating.
Because of the family’s respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
The youngest of five born to the late Joyce Ann Newsome Wilcher and the late Jasper Warren Wilcher, Kenny grew up in Louisville, quitting school in the 9th grade to work and help out the family. He farmed until he obtained his CDL at the age of 20 and began driving long-haul all over the east coast, then making short haul trips, before driving a logging truck for his son’s company. He loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Kenny also enjoyed playing poker. He has been described as being free-hearted, generous with his time, and having a love for people. He will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege to know him.
Kenny was also preceded in death by his sister, Debra Wilcher.
