Hephzibah, GA  – Ulrike Garcia Cheatwood, 61, loving daughter of Liselotte and Manuel Garcia, entered into rest Friday morning, September 5, 2014 at her residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the James Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00PM Sunday, September 7, 2014 with Chaplain Myron Ivey officiating.

Ulrike, lovingly known as Mickey, was well traveled, having been born in Germany and then living in Italy, Texas, Kansas, Florida and finally settling in Georgia. She was very artistic and loved to draw, as well as reading romance novels, doing crossword puzzles, and working in the yard with her mother.  Being a devoted sister and daughter, Mickey loved her family above all else and lived for her “kids”.

Other survivors include her four siblings, Heidi Fourman, Jessy Hopkins (Mike), Tammy Sanders (Geoff) and Shawn Garcia; and many nieces and nephews—her “kids”.

The family will receive friends at James Funeral Home after the services Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2014.
