Tommy Steve Holley
Mitchell, GA – Tommy Steve Holley, loving husband, father, and brother, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2022, at his residence at the age of 57.
Tommy was married for 34 years and blessed with two children. He was a dedicated employee to Kamin for over 30 years. When not at work, Tommy enjoyed traveling. As a mountain lover, he spent as much time in the mountains as possible, visiting flea markets and produce stands along the way. Tommy loved living the country lifestyle, working and caring for farm animals and farm land. Though a private man, he was loved by many. Always willing to help friends and family in need, he was known to have a big heart.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Welton “Chuck” Holley and is survived by his wife, DeAnn New Holley; his mother, Mildred Arrington Holley; his children, Lee Holley (Krystle) and Leslie Bentley (Will); his grandchildren Dallen Holley, Josie Bentley, Cecil Canyon Spivey, Olivia Spivey, Allie Spivey, Pyper Bentley, and Pate Bentley; his siblings, Larry Holley (Janice), Alan Holley (Debbie), Janet Parker (Billy), and Cathy Tiner (Ronny), as well as many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Curtis Tiner, Daniel Tiner, Adam Holley, Mark Holley, Alton Mitts, Stanley Mathis, Jaquavius Murray, and Mike Lyons.
Visitation will be at James Funeral Home in Wrens on Friday, March 18th, at 11 am followed by the service at 1 pm.
Because of the family’s respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.
