Theresa, lovingly known as Terry, was born and lived in Oneida NY with her father and late grandmother, Theresa Hastings. She attended Oneida Schools with her sister, Lucy. In her teen years, she moved to Augusta with her father. Living in the CSRA, she met her husband and best friend, Rob. Their union seemed like fate as they effortlessly made a home and a life together. She was not only a loving wife, but a patient mother and devoted much of her activities to helping others. Terry worked hard to get her Degree in Psychology to better understand the human mind and provide support to those who needed it. During her working years, she was a Pharmacy Tech, providing assistance and medication to heal the sick. Afterwards, she devoted much time working within the community assisting with the coordination and planning of Christian events such as the March for Jesus, or volunteering time to other charitable causes. This was all to spread the love of the Lord to the CSRA. Following her passions, she started a business named Creations by Tree. She poured her heart and soul into this business, and built up an amazing following for her products. Terry absolutely loved spending her time being creative and was always creating new products for her shop. She was a hard worker and devoted her life to being the wife, mother, daughter and best friend she could be. Those who truly knew Terry knew that she loved with her whole heart and was selfless and kind to others. She truly was a joy to be around and a pleasure to know.
Terry is preceded in death by her loving grandmother and namesake, Theresa Hastings. Others left to cherish her memories include her parents, Sue and David Hastings; children, Christina Robertson, Jessica Robertson, Sydney Herrick and Hailey Herrick; her sister, Lucy Hastings Fedroff; and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Jake Beytes, John Malley, Justin North, Joe Rasar, Roman Salinas and Chris Zietlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Burrus, Bryson Fulmer and Richard Hastings.
The family will receive friends at James Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday evening, October 24, 2021.
