Augusta, GA –            Scott Robert Conn, 55, loving husband to the late Martha Gail Alligood Conn and fiancé to AnnMarie Wilkinson, entered into his eternal rest early Tuesday morning, February 16, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday afternoon, February 27, 2021 at Blythe Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Josh Caines officiating.

Because of the family’s respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed.  The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during any gathering.

Born to Ada “Eileen” Krantz Conn Lotz and the late Richard Eugene Conn, Scott was a native of Robertsville OH, attending Minerva High School until, at the age of 18, he moved with his brother to Augusta for work opportunities.  He worked at International Paper, Bridgestone, and most recently, Eagle Distributing. At age 25, he met and married Martha Alligood.  They settled in Blythe where he resided until her passing in 2009.  In 2011, he met AnnMarie and upon their engagement in 2012, they moved to South Augusta. Scott was highly intelligent, engaging people in conversation about his two favorite subjects, science and math. His passion was playing his Martin acoustic guitar—this gave him much joy, peace, solace and soothed his soul.  Scott will be remembered for his kind, caring, considerate and compassionate nature as well as his unconditional, steadfast love for his family and friends.

Other left to cherish his memories include his son, Brian Hendrix (Jessica); grandson, Andrew Hendrix; brothers, Gary Conn (Dioscora) and Greg Conn; other extended family and friends.
