Miss Sarah's Prayer From Her Prayer Journal:
Dear God,
I come to Thee to ask forgiveness for my many sins
and to thank Thee for all the blessings I have received.
Help me, dear God, at all times to know what is right
to do and say so that I may not offend anyone, anytime.
Help me to be a good mother and grandmother, friend
and neighbor and citizen. And most of all, Holy One,
to be a child of God.
Bless my child and grandchildren and heal them in soul,
mind and body that they may grow strong in faith,
wisdom and courage and in everlasting devotion to Thee.
Bless my enemies as well as my friends and look down
with mercy upon the leaders of our nation, and all
nations, that they may find in their hearts only peace
and love for their fellowman. In this way peace may
reign supreme over all the earth.
Amen
