Renee Beth Peaster

Renee Beth Peaster, 46, unexpectedly passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at her home in Avera, due to the challenges of muscular dystrophy. Funeral services will be held in the Harmony Springs Mennonite Church at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  The family will greet friends at the church from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Renee was born Oct 12, 1977 in Cumberland, Wisconsin and was the youngest child of Verna Giesbrecht Peaster and Larry Peaster. She spent her childhood growing up on the family farm near Almena, Wisconsin, as a child she loved her chickens and cats.

Accepting Christ as her Savior, Renee was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite on June 3, 1990. She was a faithful sister that joyfully filled her place touching many lives.

She taught school in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Oklahoma. In the summer of 2006, she moved to Georgia and worked at Bullock Auto Sales for 14 years.  With her outgoing nature and love of people, her customers became her friends.  As she faced challenges with her health, she employed herself at home with many creations of sewing, which became her happy place.

Those left to cherish her memories include her parents, Larry and Verna Peaster of Clayton, Wisconsin; three brothers, Tim and Valerie Peaster of Almena, Wisconsin; Dan and Joleen Peaster of Stapleton; Aaron and Mindy Peaster of Elkton, Virginia; one sister, Rita Peaster of Avera; all of her very special nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
