A native of Augusta, Randall grew up in Wrens and was a 2002 graduate of Jefferson County High School. He worked with computer but his passion was music, especially hard rock. He taught himself to play the guitar and drums, and had an extensive collection of guitars. Randall was an avid reader and wrote poetry, some of which he put to music. A deep thinker, he has been described as being “very soulful”. He was very tender-hearted, loved animals, and hated to see anyone or an animal suffering. Randall loved his family and always wanted the very best for everyone he knew. He was loved with a love beyond telling and he is missed with a grief beyond tears.
Randall is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen McKeller; and his paternal grandfather, Coy Lee Wells. Those left to cherish his memories include his children, Victoria Wells (Rogelio Almazan), Isbella Wells and Aiden Wells; a granddaughter, Rosalyn Almazan; his mother, Cynthia Petty Wells; three siblings, Wesley Wells (Donna Boulineau), Heather Parrish (Andy) and Jade Payne (Michael); maternal grandfather, George Petty; and paternal grandmother, Terri Davis; and many friends.
