RACHEL MARIE “RABBIT” HARRIS

Wrens, GA -      Rachel Marie “Rabbit” Harris, 19, finished her race on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022.  The family will receive friends and family at James Funeral Home, 630 N Main St, Wrens, GA 30833, from 2:00 – 4:15 PM Sunday, October 23, 2022 with funeral service immediately following in the James Funeral Home Chapel.

Today, our hearts are broken as we all mourn the loss of our beloved sister, Rachel.  Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will forever remember her warmth, love and generosity.

Rachel was born August 31, 2003, was a lifelong resident of Wrens, Georgia and graduated from Jefferson County Highschool, class of 2023. Rachel was known for her big smile, big heart, devotion to her family and friends, quick wit, love for the outdoors, running, perseverance, and dedication to her racing career. Her speed on the track earned the nickname “Rabbit”. Rachel left an impact on every person she encountered. She loved adventure just as much as she was one and truly lived her every day like it was the last.

We were all blessed to call you our sister, friend, and companion. You will forever be loved and missed dearly. Your bright light will shine forever in our memories.

Rachel leaves behind sister Michelle, sister Ashley, sister Shannon, brother Sterling, brother Hunter, brother Nehemiah, brother Jebodiah, brother Trey, brother Sajon, sister Leah, honorary parents Dennis and Pam, love of her life Holder, beloved dog Snicker, many nieces, nephews, friends, and moto family.
