Patricia was born on October 13, 1953, in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, to the late Peggy Hammock Wilson and the late Lucius Wilson. Due to her mother’s physical disabilities, Patricia was raised by her aunt and uncle, Earline and Joe Campbell, in Stockbridge where she attended Henry County schools.
Patricia's life flourished when she met the love of her life, Milburn Dennis Jones Sr., on a blind date. They married in 1971 and she moved with him to Cumming where they started their family. Patricia took pride in being a devoted wife to Milburn and found immense joy in raising their children. She was a pillar of strength within the family unit and created an atmosphere filled with love and warmth.
As a dedicated homemaker, Patricia found solace in creating a nurturing home environment for her family. She enjoyed sewing and her green thumb found expression through tending to her beloved flower garden. Nature held a special place in Patricia's heart; she often spent time outdoors appreciating the beauty that surrounded her.
Patricia's enthusiasm for life extended beyond homemaking as she thoroughly enjoyed shopping and celebrating all holidays – but none more than Christmas. Her festive spirit uplifted everyone during the holiday season.
After the passing of her beloved husband, Patricia moved to Louisville to be closer to her youngest daughter. Living in the peace and tranquility of the countryside brought Patricia immense joy. The quietude of rural life provided her with moments of reflection and contentment. These serene moments fueled her spirit and added to her already vibrant personality.
Patricia's proudest accomplishments were rooted in her role as a stay-at-home mom, where she poured her heart and soul into taking care of her family. Her unwavering love and dedication touched the lives of her children and was a guiding light who offered unwavering support through all endeavors.
Patricia was known for her loving and caring nature, along with her strong-willed and independent spirit. With a great sense of humor that brought joy to those around her, she will be remembered as a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
