Jimmy Michael Paul
Wrens, GA – Jimmy Michael Paul, 50, loving son of Sara F. Wooten and the late Durham Paul, entered into rest Monday morning, June 18, 2012 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, June 21, 2012 in the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Wrens Memorial Cemetery.
Jimmy lived most of his life in Richmond and Jefferson County. Before he became disabled, he was a truck driver for Swint Transport and very athletic—he especially enjoyed bowling. In later years, he loved playing computer games and was somewhat of a computer whiz. He was a lifelong, die-hard GA Bulldog fan. Jimmy never met a stranger, was good-hearted and generous—a ray of sunshine who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Other survivors include his three brothers, Donald E. Paul, Wayne T. Paul (Vicki), and Roger H. Phillips; his canine friend, Peanut; an aunt and uncle; and many cousins. Pallbearers will be Doug Burroughs, Buddy Farmer, Patrick Goddard, James Moses, Ronnie Phillips and Billy Torres.
The family will receive friends at James Funeral Home on Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 12:30-2:00PM prior to funeral services or at the home of Roger Phillips, 406 King St, Wrens GA.

Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife, not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep
