Jaxxon Kyle Rogers
Augusta, GA – After only ten days on earth, Jaxxon Kyle Rogers, infant son of Hannah and Jonathan Rogers, died peacefully in the arms of his loving parents and went home to his Heavenly Father on April 19, 2021 from Augusta University. Services to celebrate his life eternal will be held in the James Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon, April 22, 2021, with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Because of the family’s respect and concern for public health and safety during this COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged during this gathering.
Others left to cherish the memory of this precious baby boy include his paternal grandparents, Shelli and Richard Rogers of Waynesboro, and Crystal and Shane Hozey of Grovetown; maternal grandparents, Lynn Screws and Donnie Screws, both of Mitchell; great grandparents, Jane and Robert Rogers of Waynesboro, and Gordon Screws of Mitchell; aunts and uncles, William and Emma Rogers, Cody and Shelby Hozey, Robin and Peter Spivey, Shannon Screws and Phillip Screws; great uncles and aunts, cousins and other extended family. Pallbearers will be Richard Rogers and Richard Faulk.
Even though Jaxxon was with us a very short time, he touched the lives of many for which we are eternally grateful. Thank you, our Heavenly Father, for allowing us this precious time on earth with him.
The family will receive friends at James Funeral Home from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Thursday afternoon, April 22, 2021 prior to the services.
