Harold Fay Usry

Harold Fay Usry, 80, loving husband of Elizabeth “Beth” Stone Usry, transitioned from Augusta University’s Heart and Vascular Tower to go with Jesus to his eternal Heavenly home Friday morning, June 16, 2023.   Services to honor his Lord and Savior will be held in the James Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM Tuesday afternoon, June 20, 2023, with the Reverends Ed Chance and Carl Geisik officiating.  A private interment will held be in the Wrens Memorial Cemetery.  

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Nell Glover Usry and John Daniel “J.D.” Usry; and six siblings, John Usry, Mary Usry O’Neal, Odessa Usry Tam, Audry Usry Rudd, Ann Usry Barker, and Joe Usry. Others left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Heather Usry Russell; grandchildren, Hadley Russell, Will Russell, Ellison Russell and Hope Weaver; brother, Jerry Usry; other extended family and many friends.

The family strongly suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to honor Harold be made to Howard Manor Preservation, P.O. Box 710, Wrens GA 30833.
