Glenn Roger Combs, Sr.

Glenn Roger Combs, Sr, 57, loving husband of 25 years to Mary Combs, took his final journey home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at his residence. The funeral service will be held in the James Funeral Home Chapel, 630 N Main St, Wrens, GA 30833, with Brother Jim Whitson officiating at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.  The family will receive friends and family at James Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2022.

Glenn was born on January 28, 1965, in Rosiers En Haye, France and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He began working at P&T Electric in 1995 and continued there for 27 years until his cancer became too aggressive, making it impossible. Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and would do whatever he could to help the people around him. He also enjoyed collecting antique items and helping at Jefferson County Liquidators auctions on Fridays. He was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Fred Combs, and his mother, Barbara Combs. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Combs and his children Amy Hernandez Oviedo (Jesus), Jessica Combs, Niccie Combs (Brianna), Angel Hobbs (Randall), Glenn Combs, Jr (Lanie Taylor), Megan Combs, LeeAnn Daugherty (Tyler), Samantha Combs (Tracey Price), Taylor Combs (Maurice Rogers), and Jennifer Daugherty; siblings Gary Combs (Judy), Greg Combs (Patty), and Debbie Brown (Mike); 26 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Pall bearers will be Tyler Daugherty, Jesus Hernandez, Tracey Price, Patrick Prickett, Maurice Rogers, and Kenneth Unruh, Sr.

Because of the financial difficulty resulting from his health issues, the family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made directly to James Funeral Home, PO Box 588, Wrens GA 30833.
