Glendon Thomas Brooks

N Augusta, SC.  – Glendon Thomas “Tommy” Brooks, 70, entered into rest Thursday, December 20, 2012 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10:00AM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera with Rev. Nathan Adams officiating.
Tommy grew up in Avera and proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked in the food industry until his retirement and made his home in North Augusta SC.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Reba Dye Brooks and William Thomas Brooks; his brothers, Jake, Dixon and Farris; and his sisters, Mary and Willie Maude. Survivors include his sisters,  Jewel, Dessie, and Aselee; and numerous nephews and nieces.
