Gale Elizabeth Holbert

Blythe, GA  –              Gale Elizabeth Holbert, 71, entered into her eternal rest Monday evening, September 16, 2019 at Keysville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.  Private services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

One of eleven (six boys and five girls) born to the late Ethel Irene Miller Holbert and the late James Albert Holbert, Gale was a native of Greenwood SC.  After finishing her education, she worked at Wal-Mart.  Gale moved to Blythe in 2013 to live with her brother and sister-in-law.  She loved to fish, and was a champion at crossword puzzles and seek-and-find puzzles. Gale was outgoing and loved helping others. She had sweet, innocent, loving spirit and has now joined her parents in her Heavenly home.

Gale is also preceded in death by six siblings. Survivors include her brothers, Sam Holbert (Marty) and Larry Mack Holbert (JoAnn); her sister, Betty Fulmer; nieces, nephews, and friends.
