Golfers Prayer

God, as I play the 18 holes of my life, I pray
each drive is long enough to reach my goals
and straight enough to keep me out of  trouble.
When I find myself in life’s traps and hazards,
I pray to escape them with no penalty and to
always stay in bounds. I pray to always play with honor.
And when I putt out on the 18th green, I pray
I have shown integrity and character;
I pray to be worthy of joining Your Threesome,
to play forever on Your Heavenly course.
Amen.
