Wrens, GA –               Donna Rhodes Walden, 66, loving wife of 21 years to Collins Walden, entered into her eternal rest Sunday evening, June 6, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. Private services will be held at a later date.

The only child born to the late Emeline Rhodes Walden and the late G.B. Walden Jr, Donna was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. Growing up in Wrens, she was a 1973 graduate of Wrens High School, attended Augusta College, and got a Medical Transcriptionist degree from Augusta Tech.  She was mostly self-employed working from home but did work with several doctors, hospitals, and private contractors. A quiet, very intelligent person with numerous interests, she was an avid reader of mystery/espionage books and loved old classic movies and movie trivia. Music soothed her soul, especially the stylings of Leon Russell, her favorite musician. Donna was very unique and always blazed her own path in life. A loyal friend, she was never one to gossip or slander anyone. Donna was a private person who lived life her way. She had an absolute love for her family and friends, especially her son, Walden Hudson of Wellington New Zealand, who was the joy of her life.
